Slatted Hay Rings

After trying almost every hay feeder design for small ruminates, from access panels, collapsible feeders, and cradle hay feeders, we have settled on two round designs that are essentially a small version of round bale feeders for cattle. These designs allow easy access while also limiting waste. For us the hay feeder designs have encouraged better consumption of undesirable feed, such as stemmy 1st cuttings hay, over all the other competing designs. These are hay rings made for sheep, goats and small calves. It design allows for almost complete access to the middle for mature sheep. This ring is built to last but also light enough to lift and roll with one person.

• Slatted design with 24 headspaces.
