Easily supplement your livestock on pasture with this all mechanical snacker trailer. It's simple, efficient and the design has been proven for decades in other livestock producing countries. Namely the British Isles and New Zealand, where pasture is the main component of livestock diet and a small amount of supplement is fed to finish lambs or boost ewe or other livestock performance on grass.

The snacker opens up the possibility to finish lambs on pasture and allows you to easily flush ewes on pasture which increases lambing percentage. Supplemented ewes can generally raise their triplets on pasture and pays back for itself through better health of the sheep, more lambs per ewe and the lambs are accustomed to supplementing. Supplementing can reduce summer slump with cool season grass and help minimize effects of fescue on livestock. 0.5 to1 lbs of shell corn is usually all you need per ewe.

You can feed anywhere you want to minimize pasture damage. The snackers are easier and more efficient than creep feeders on pasture and it's a trailer so you don't take up space on the vehicle like a mounted cake feeder. Unlike most cake feeders that dispense the feed by the side of the vehicle and the livestock swarm the vehicle, the snacker drops feed out the back where it draws the livestock to the back out of dangers way. The livestock quickly learn to follow the snacker and can be lead to anywhere. It also helps you keep an eye of the health of your livestock because they all readily come to feed and will circle the pile of feed instead of running up and down a line of feed. You will be safer as well because you will not have to come in close of contact with the livestock and risk injury.
